You deploy your funds in LP tokens backed by the asset owner’s debt portfolio and balance sheet. Accordingly, interest risks and loan default risks are fully absorbed by the asset owner. All payments, such as interest and principal, are regulated via smart contracts. The only risk you have is if the asset owner would default as a company. In that case, the asset owner is obliged to pay overdue with its remaining holdings.
FU Capital management and founders have more than 30 years’ experience in traditional financing, 15 years in lending, and 10 years in blockchain related businesses. None of their companies have ever defaulted.
All asset owners, their existing balance sheets, and loan portfolios undergo detailed due diligence before being allowed on the platform. All initial asset owners will also be partly owned by our group of companies to ensure oversight, their performance, and liquidity. All this is to ensure that an asset owner doesn’t default and so there are minimal risks with any deployed funds.
We have a protocol with legal recourse and strong regulatory and compliance requirements — KYC, AML, PEP as well as robust technical audits.
